The guide

How Fostre works

Fostre comes from the Old English fōstor — nourishment. It follows four quiet rhythms that turn a pile of recipes into a well-fed week.

01

Collect

Keep every recipe worth keeping in one place.

  • Paste a link from any recipe site
  • Use your camera on a recipe card or cookbook page
  • Upload photos, or type a family recipe by hand
  • Check every ingredient and step before saving
02

Plan

Shape the week before it shapes you.

  • Drag or tap recipes into Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner
  • Adjust servings for each meal
  • Copy last week in one tap
  • Glance at the next two weeks from the Recipes page
03

Shop

One list, built for you, sorted by aisle.

  • Your list updates whenever the plan changes
  • Shared ingredients are merged into one amount
  • Shop for the full week or just a few days
  • Tap pantry staples, then Complete shop when you're done
04

Cook

One calm step at a time.

  • Start cook mode from any recipe
  • Ingredients scaled to your servings
  • Large, readable steps with timings
  • Arrow keys to move on when your hands are busy
